Hello, my name is Martin Coleman, and I am a student filmmaker and visual effects artist/ animator from Olympic College in Bremerton, Washington. I've entered my final year at the OC Film school, and have begun developing my senior project short film titled Abduction(s). I've always had a passion for storytelling, though it wasn't until 2020 that it really flourished, when I started teaching myself how to create my own visual effects and animations, primarily through the software Blender. I hope to combine the skills and knowledge I've developed on my own with what I've learned at Olympic College to create something truly spectacular, which will require all the help I can get!

The Story:

A busy young adult is contacted by an old friend in need of help, asking to be watched in his sleep, under the belief that aliens have been abducting him every night. Although reluctant, the protagonist agrees to help, hoping that this could be an opportunity to repair their relationship. The night that ensues will forever change their outlooks on life.

Abduction(s) explores the unknown through the damaged relationship of two friends in the face of what could be an extra-terrestrial encounter. Any and all funds will go towards the film, covering production costs for things such as securing locations and feeding the cast and crew. Anything is greatly appreciated.
