Support Martin's Fight to beat CRPS

Hi, I'm Martin. I am 30 years old living with Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) for many years and I need your help to get to the Spero Clinic in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Complex Regional Pain Syndrome is a rare neurological condition associated with malfunction of the autonomic nervous system. Medically speaking it is the most painful disease known to man according to the McGill Pain Index, dubbed the "suicide disease" because the high rate of people living with CRPS seriously consider this alternative to living. Many people, including myself, describe it as feeling like they are literally being burned alive. There is very little peace and no escape in my life; just uninterrupted pain.

For many including myself, I did not receive a CRPS diagnosis for many years into my ailment as a simple and routine procedure with a 12-gauge needle has appeared to be the culprit in this case if you can believe it. This is the case with many others as well unfortunately. This disease is hard to treat and requires expensive care that is often not covered by insurance which has brought me and my family to a financial brink. My symptoms are so severe that they render me unable to hold and secure a job as I have been in and out of work. I spend most of my hours bedridden taking all sorts of medications that often do nothing including strong opioids likes of Fentanyl at points in time. I do not want this to be my fate. It would be riddled with pain and depression to me and those around me. After a long 7+ year process, I am seeking your help to turn the tide.

I am asking out for your support to help me attend the Spero Clinic, a specialized pain management program, that could significantly improve my quality of life. Living with CRPS has been a daily struggle, impacting my ability to work, engage in activities I love, and connect with my family and friends. This program offers a 14-week regimen of comprehensive treatments and therapies tailored to help individuals like me regain control over their pain and lead a more fulfilling life. Unfortunately, the costs associated with this program are beyond my current financial means.
