Hi, my name is Martin, and I’m a father doing everything I can to be there for my daughter.

Right now, I’m facing one of the hardest situations of my life. I’m currently in a legal battle to bring my daughter back home—back to the place where she feels most comfortable, supported, and surrounded by love. I had an agreement with my ex wife for my daughter to visit her for spring break. The ex then decided she was going to keep her for good. I flew down to California trying to get her back but it fell on deaf ears. She withheld my daughter from coming back with me as I had police presence with me. Due to California state law my daughter wanting to come back isn't enough for them to let her come back.

My daughter has always had a strong bond with me and our family. When she’s here, she’s happy, she’s herself, and she’s surrounded by her cousins and loved ones who mean the world to her. Being away from that has been incredibly hard on both of us. She misses her family deeply, and I can see how much she just wants to be back in a place that feels like home.

As a father, there’s nothing more important to me than her well-being, stability, and happiness. I’ve always done my best to be present in her life and give her the love and support she deserves. Right now, I’m doing everything I can to fight for that.

To move forward, I need to hire an experienced family lawyer who can properly represent me and give me a fair chance in court. Unfortunately, the legal costs are more than I can manage on my own. Between retainers, court fees, and ongoing legal expenses, it adds up quickly.
