Support Martin's Fight Against Burkitt Lymphoma

Hi, I’m Teresa, wife to Martin Senior, and mom of 5 kids (Alexis 24, Martin 21, Christopher 16, Moises 10, Isabella 8). Martin is a former Conant High School student where he built many positive relationships.

Our life was pretty normal until the day Martin, my second oldest, was diagnosed with cancer. Everything changed overnight. Martin went from working 2 jobs, boxing, and hanging out with his family to chemotherapy, doctor appointments, and PET scans. He was diagnosed with Burkitt Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, stage 2. Burkitt Lymphoma is a very rare and aggressive cancer. Martin has had surgery to remove the tumor and is fighting through his last few chemo treatments. I stopped working and spend all my time taking Martin to treatments and trying to keep life moving for Martin’s younger siblings. My husband works overnight shifts and we are doing our best. It is just really hard.

We are asking for your support to pay for medication, gas, and household expenses (rent, food, etc).

It is humbling and inspiring to watch Martin fight through cancer. As a mom, I have to be strong for Martin and the rest of my family. There are moments when I can’t, and in those moments, Martin’s strength carries the whole family. Martin's story is one of inspiration and perseverance.
