Hi, my name is Martin. Our home caught on fire last Wednesday, August 20th. We had been renting for six years, but unfortunately, we did not have rental insurance for the last four months. The owner refuses to help us, claiming that it’s not her responsibility.

We have been struggling for three days to find a place to stay. We have no family in the area, and my mom passed away on August 1st, which led to the sale of her house. We have nowhere to go, and we lost all our clothes and belongings in the fire. Everything we owned—clothes, furniture, and appliances—is gone, and we cannot afford to replace anything since we have no money. It will take six to eight months for the house to be rebuilt before we can return. I don’t know what we will do for those six months or where we will stay.
