Support Martin and Marilyn in Their Time of Need

Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and anyone in-between,

I am making this GoFundMe on behalf of my parents, Martin and Marilyn. My dad just turned 73 years old at the end of April. On June 13th, he had a heart attack which sent him to St. Joe's in Ann Arbor for an 11-day stay. He had heart surgery, and they discovered he has advanced stages of bone cancer. He came home this past Monday due to insurance cutting off his stay. He ended up going downhill very quickly. He suffered another heart attack at home on June 27th and ended back in the ambulance to go to the same hospital again.

  • My parents have been together since kindergarten (can you believe it?!) and have been married 55 years this August. They started their own business in 1978. My dad has worked very hard as a machinist and worked up until the day before his heart attack on the 13th. He has always remained the most giving and generous man our family (and I'm sure many others) have known. He has continuously helped family, friends, and strangers his entire life. He loves to give.
  • We are facing frightening and uncertain times, especially as my parents unfortunately do not have a nest egg and had to spend any retirement put aside when things got rough these past few years. My dad was unable to retire, and his health took the brunt of it. He has worked so hard for all of us his whole life.
  • My sisters, our children, and I are hoping for some help giving back to two people who have given everything and beyond for as long as we can remember. Donations will go towards food, gas, medications that aren't covered by Medicare, ambulance trips that aren't covered, and ultimately my mom's comfort moving forward.
  • Any and all help will be a massive blessing. If you are unable to donate, we completely understand and want to say shares are just as impactful as it will help us to reach more people. We appreciate you. God bless you all and thank you with all of our hearts. ♥️
