Martha has been the caretaker of my father who is suffering from dementia for months. She has been such a blessing to our family, and we have grown to love her as our own. Despite how physically and emotionally demanding her work can be, she has never once complained. She shows up every single day with a big hug, a warm smile, compassion, and patience. At the age of 76 she has out worked any other caretaker that we have hired.

This morning, Martha was in a car accident. Her injuries are being treated at the hospital currently. We have been told by Martha that they found a head, neck, and vertebrae injury, as well as some fluid around the lungs. She has given so much of herself to help others, and now we would love to help her. We are hoping to raise funds to support her during her recovery, to cover any of the financial burdens that have resulted from the accident and to give her some peace of mind while she heals.
