Dear Family and Friends,

Recently, a challenging and exciting opportunity was presented to me, and I’d like to share it with you. I feel called by the Lord to go to Uganda, from July 11-25th, with Cherish Ministry to share the love of Christ with children and young mothers who have escaped wars in the Congo or South Sudan. Uganda is in East Africa and hosts more than 1.5 million refugees, the most in all of Africa.

Where we will be: Where: We will arrive in Entebbe, Uganda, and be staying in Entebbe and Arua.

What we will do in Uganda

• Reach out to refugee kids through through sports and art ministry

• Help mobilize churches to impact their local communities

• Train local churches to launch new sites for Cherish Ministry

• Minister to young moms from Uganda, the Congo, and South Sudan

• Give young mothers and children a chance to be part of God’s family

• Bring hope and joy to children who have lost their parents in wars

How you can help: I am responsible for raising my portion of the trip’s cost, which is $3,000. I have already paid $300, but my next payment for $1,000 is due on April 30th.
