Martha De Aguinaga was a beautiful soul, with a servant’s heart, grounded in her faith and devoted to her family. No matter what, she showed up for her loved ones every day. Her heart belonged to Jesus, her children, and her precious grand babies, whom she raised as her own. My Tia Martha’s kindness and strength touched everyone who knew her, and her legacy of love will live on in the lives she shaped.
Her passing was completely unexpected. Just before Thanksgiving, my aunt became very ill and was diagnosed with cancer. The diagnosis came quickly, and so did sudden complications that needed urgent treatment before the cancer could even be addressed. Despite her courage and the care she received, it became clear that the Lord was calling her home. On December 30, 2025, my aunt entered eternal rest. The loss has left our family heartbroken and facing significant challenges.
We are raising funds to help cover my Tia Martha’s funeral expenses so that we can give her the memorial service she deserves, assist with medical bills, and support her two young grand babies, ages 6 and 7, whom she had been raising as her own. Any support you can offer will help us honor my aunt’s memory and provide for those she loved most during this difficult time. Thank you for taking the time to read my aunt’s story. Your support of any amount is greatly appreciated.
