Imagine living your everyday life, to one day have it turned upside down. A day in the life of Martha Pizano Graham was being a loving and devoted mother of two year old Gavin and a wife. Having just bought their first home, she was the ideal home maker. By night, she worked the night shift as a waitress. A 34 year old women living and loving the world she created. To one day not feel all herself, to have sores that will not heal.. So Martha dropped son Gavin off at Grandma's and went to the doctor. After some blood work, Martha learned she has Leukemia and was immediately brought to the cancer ward of her local hospital. She is now experiencing blood transfusions, chemotherapy and perhaps eventually a bone marrow transplant. She never got to hug her son goodbye and cannot be visited by children due to illness they may give her for 4-6 weeks. For now. It may be longer. Martha and husband Brit cannot work and already have bills piling up. They need a caregiver to watch Gavin for over a month. As we all are aware, life is already hard. Making ends meet and just staying afloat isnt always easy. So for a young family just getting started in the world together, this battle will be hard enough to handle on it's own. Money cant buy her health, but at least it can help with all the rest. Please help us in providing Martha with the peace of mind she needs to heal stress free.
