Help Me in My Fight Against  Cancer

Hi, my name is Martha Calderón, and I’m reaching out to you today to share my personal journey and ask for your support during this difficult time.

I was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney cancer. The tumor was attached to my blood vessels and veins, which caused it to spread. I had to undergo surgery to remove the left kidney along with the tumor. Since then, I’ve been undergoing immunotherapy to help my body fight this disease.

Unfortunately, after a recent CT scan, doctors found another spot on my chest. I’m scheduled for a biopsy this Friday, and I’m praying that it’s nothing serious. However, if it turns out to be cancer, it will be classified as stage 4, which is considered terminal. In that case, I will need radiation therapy, in addition to the immunotherapy I’m already receiving.

This is a tough road to walk, but I am determined to keep fighting. The medical costs and treatment expenses are a burden, and that’s why I’ve started this GoFundMe campaign. Your support, no matter the amount, will help me cover my medical expenses and continue my treatments. Every bit of help is truly appreciated and will make a big difference in my journey.

Hola, mi nombre es Martha Calderón, y me estoy dirigiendo a ustedes hoy para compartir mi historia personal y pedir su apoyo durante este momento tan difícil.

Fui diagnosticada con cáncer renal en etapa 3.

El tumor estaba adherido a mis vasos sanguíneos y venas, lo que permitió que se diseminara por mi cuerpo. Tuve que someterme a una cirugía para extirpar el riñón izquierdo junto con el tumor. Desde entonces, estoy recibiendo inmunoterapia para ayudar a mi cuerpo a combatir esta enfermedad.

Desafortunadamente, después de una tomografía computarizada reciente, los médicos encontraron una nueva mancha en mi pecho. Tengo programada una biopsia este viernes, y rezo para que no sea nada serio. Sin embargo, si resulta ser cáncer, pasaré a estar en etapa 4, lo que se considera cáncer terminal. En ese caso, necesitaré radioterapia, además de la inmunoterapia que ya estoy recibiendo.

Este es un camino difícil, pero estoy decidida a seguir luchando. Los costos médicos y los gastos de tratamiento son una carga, por eso he iniciado esta campaña de GoFundMe.
