Aloha NKP 'Ohana and Friends!
For those of you who don't know who we are, we are Nalo Keiki Paniolo. We are a small business and riding club located in Waimanalo. We provide a safe space and opportunity for children and their 'ohana to learn about and experience horses and ranch life in Hawaii.
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your help. Our beloved and very special mini horse, Marshmello, recently underwent EMERGENCY colic surgery—a procedure that was her only chance of survival. Colic is a serious condition in horses that can happen without warning, and without surgery, we would have lost our sweet girl.
Juslin and Ka'ainoa had to make the tough decision to opt for surgery, knowing that it would put significant financial strain on the club, or face the heartbreaking alternative. With the odds of a successful recovery on their side, they chose the life-saving surgery.
Marshmello is not just a pet; she is a HUGE part of our family. She has played an integral role in our ranch, providing countless amounts of Hawaii keiki with their very first pony ride, bountiful amounts joy, happiness, and love to everyone who meets her. From playful trots around the pasture to her calming presence during tough times, Marshmello is a once-in-a-lifetime pony.
The surgery went well, and she is on the road to recovery, but the costs have been overwhelming for a small business like us. Between the surgery itself, post-operative care, and medications, the expenses have exceeded what we could have ever anticipated. We are committed to giving Marshmello the best care possible, but we cannot do it alone.
This is where we need YOUR HELP! Any donation, big or small, will make a world of difference in covering the costs of Marshmello’s medical care and ensuring her full recovery. If you’re unable to donate, sharing her story would mean the world to us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, support, and generosity. With your help, we can give Marshmello the second chance she absolutely deserves.
