Support Marsha's Mission for Zambian Families
Tax deductible
Hello, my name is Marsha Winsryg and since 2004 my nonprofit, the African Artists Community Development Project, has worked to provide educational, medical and income opportunities to families who had no access to either because of poverty and the lack of social services.
Since 2008 we have found sponsors to help young people go to school, which was denied to them until recently because before 2021 the government did not fund public education.
In 2010 the AACDP developed the Zambezi Doll Company, a cooperative business for the mothers in this community to earn a living.
In 2021, we raised money to create the Zambezi Community Farm for a sustainable future for these families to grow and sell food.
We have continued to support these efforts through many difficulties, floods, droughts, illness, and prejudice.
Now the US has cut off all aid to Africa and our work is crucial to the long-term survival of this community. Every contribution, large or small, will help the AACDP continue to provide hope and opportunity to children with disabilities in Livingstone, Zambia.
Thank you for your generosity.
