Our son Marshall was born at just 23 weeks and 1 day, weighing only 1lb 3oz. From the very beginning, he has faced overwhelming odds. When my wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, we were told we would lose him, but Marshall has shown incredible strength and resilience. Despite several scares, including kidney failure, severe infections, and a life-threatening case of Necrotizing Enterocolitis, he continues to fight every day in the NICU.

Marshall has now been hospitalized for over 74 days, and his journey is far from over. The doctors have diagnosed him with a grade 4 brain bleed, and neurologists estimate he will have moderate to severe cerebral palsy. My wife has left her job to be with Marshall 24/7 at the hospital, which is nearly two hours from our home. The emotional and financial strain has been immense, but our hope for Marshall’s future keeps us going.

We are raising funds to help cover the mounting medical bills and the cost of care Marshall will need once he is released from the NICU. The long-term impact of his early birth and medical challenges is still unknown, and we want to ensure he has every opportunity for the best possible quality of life.
