Marshall Swimming & Diving is more than a program — it’s a legacy.
For generations, this team has shaped student-athletes, built lifelong friendships, and created a community that extends far beyond the pool. We are proud to call ourselves daughters of Marshall, members of the Herd, and part of something that has always meant more than wins and losses.
That legacy was recently put at risk.
When the program was cut, it would have been easy to accept it as the end. But this community didn’t walk away.
Student-athletes spoke out.
Alumni organized.
Families, supporters, and advocates came together.
We showed up — again and again — because this program was worth fighting for.
And we fought.
Because we knew what Marshall Swimming & Diving represents:
Opportunity. Commitment. Belonging.
A place where women are given the chance to compete, grow, and succeed.
That fight led to something powerful.
Marshall Swimming & Diving has been reinstated.
This is a moment we will never forget — but it’s not the finish line.
It’s the beginning of something bigger.
