We’re reaching out today with a special request on behalf of an incredible group of young athletes—our Marshall Eagles Varsity High School baseball team from Pasadena, California. This group of young men made it to the CIF championship game after an amazing season of hard work, teamwork, and perseverance.
Unfortunately, this well-earned success comes with a bittersweet cost: the seniors on the team, 11 of them, won’t be able to attend Grad Night at Disneyland, as the playoff game conflicts with Grad Night. For many of these seniors, this championship game is a once-in-a-lifetime event they have been working towards for years.
To make matters even more difficult, several of our players and their families have been directly affected by the recent fires in Altadena—some have lost their homes entirely. The emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming, yet these students have continued to show up, give their all, and support each other both on and off the field.
We want to give them a celebration they’ll never forget—something special to honor their hard work, achievements, and the challenges they’ve overcome. We’re planning an alternative Grad Night celebration just for them, and we need your help to make it happen.
Our goal is to raise $3000 to cover the cost of a trip to Disneyland, which would includes transportation and food for the seniors.
If you’re able to donate or spread the word, it would mean the world to these students.
Thank you for being part of our community and showing these young men that their perseverance matters—and that they’re supported and celebrated, no matter what comes their way.
With heartfelt gratitude,
