Marshall Moore is fighting the battle of his life and now it’s our turn to stand for a man who has spent his life standing for everyone else. If you know Marshall, then you know of his remarkable heart and generosity. Your support will give Marshall and Michelle the chance to focus fully on his fight against cancer knowing they are surrounded by an army of warriors who love and support them and refuse to let them walk this road alone.
Over the last two decades, Marshall has bravely endured more than 50 rounds of chemotherapy, 20 rounds of radiation, and hundreds of blood draws along with endless hospital stays. These treatments have not only taken a toll physically and emotionally, but they’ve also been a heavy burden financially.
The road ahead brings the most difficult treatment yet: high-dose chemotherapy, followed by a 4-6 week hospital stay for a bone marrow transplant and recovery. This will be followed by a grueling process of rebuilding his immune system after the transplant. This journey is intense and represents his best hope of remission.
Marshall is a family man. A loving Papa Marsh, father, and devoted husband. His great joy is his sweetheart Michelle, with whom he has built a life full of love, adventure, and purpose. Together they have blended a “Brady Bunch” of six married children and sixteen grandchildren. His love for Michelle and his family is the anchor that steadies him through his hardest days.
Marshall is an eternal optimist and a man of faith. Marshall has carried himself through his cancer journey with gratitude, hope, and courage. His smile and spirit lift everyone around him even in his darkest hours.
Marshall and Michelle have given freely to so many people beyond their family. The film and entertainment industry is stronger and kinder because of them. Over five decades, they’ve encouraged and supported countless people. Whether a student just starting out or a top-level producer, director, or actor, their generosity and mentorship have created a ripple effect of opportunity and love that continues to touch people's lives.
Professionally, Marshall’s career spans over 40 years, from his impactful leadership as the Director of the Utah Film Commission to the decades of location and production expertise. His tireless efforts have brought countless films to life, leaving a permanent mark on the industry he loves.
But today, Marshall needs our help. The medical expenses of this long fight are immense. If you’ve ever worked with Marshall, have been mentored by him, or been touched by his kindness, please consider making a donation. Your support will give Marshall and Michelle the chance to focus fully on his health and this fight, knowing they are not alone.
