Support Marshall & Beau's Jiu Jitsu Journey

Greetings,

We are Daniel and Adrienne Black, and are both high school teachers in TX. We are writing to you on behalf of our young boys, Marshall, age 10, and Beau, age 8, who are passionate about Jiu Jitsu and are seeking some help to compete in tournaments both locally and internationally, including Japan and Brazil. Jiu Jitsu is a martial art that not only teaches self-defense, but also instills discipline, resilience, and a strong sense of community. Our goal is to provide these young boys with the opportunity to compete at the highest level and gain valuable experience in the world of Jiu Jitsu. Marshall and Beau are members of Reign Jiu Jitsu Competition Team. Both boys are in the top 3 of athletes in their division. In 2023, Beau placed 2nd and Marshall placed 3rd at Pan Kids Jiu-Jitsu Championship (IBJJF Kids Worlds Championship). In 2022, both boys placed 3rd. The boys have a great chance to win this year and could use your help. As Educators we have not been able to afford their dream on our own, as competition travel can be a tremendous expense. To make their dreams a reality, we are seeking your support through fundraising. Together, we can empower them to achieve greatness in Jiu Jitsu and beyond.

Our Goal:

To compete in 8 upcoming Kids International Jiu-Jitsu Championship and to Win IBJJF American National Jiu-Jitsu Championship (IBJJF Kids National Championship) In Las Vegas, NV, IBJJF Pan Kids Jiu-Jitsu Championship in July (IBJJF Kids Worlds Championship) in Kissimmee, FL and SJJIF Kids World Jiu Jitsu Championship in Nagoya, Japan.

The Costs to Reach Our Goal:

Transportation, Accommodation while competing, Tournament Entry Fees, Training and Equipment Expenses.
