Support Mars Gender Affirming Surgery & housing insecurity

Hi there, My name is Mars. I'm a physically disabled 26 y/o transmasculine native New Yorker, and recently have been displaced because of rising prices in Nyc making it difficult for me to find work/housing. i'm currently crashing with a friend in NJ, and its been super unsustainable for me physically, financially, emotionally long term. Traveling back and forth to nyc, crashing where I can. I have been having serious pain flare ups not being able to sleep in my own bed. (which is currently in storage).

For the past few years while trying to schedule my gender affirming surgery. Bilateral Double-mastectomy w/ nipple graphs. There have been multiple obstacles for me (finding time off while working, housing insecurity, financial instability, multiple injuries/other medical issues, etc) I also have a mountain of college debt from attending CUNY. I cannot take out loans I have tried.

For these reasons I've decided to look toward my community for mutual aid! I will be going through with the surgery in a few months. Currently set to Feb '25. Possibly sooner w/ any open availabilities. There are some medical costs I need assistance with, that my insurance doesn't cover. As well as costs for meals (i cant do any meal prep due to having no fridge space and cant lift my arms much for a few weeks), medical supplies ill need post op, etc.

This is what i'm asking for right now.

For those who know me, I grew up with not too many resources at my disposal. That includes familial support, and access to a lot of opportunities that my peers have gotten. Its hard for me to ask for help sometimes. while being in this position, I feel completely grateful for my present community and everybody who has helped me in the past w/ mutual aid.
