Honoring Marquis Dunn;
Hello, my name is Marquisha Dunn, and with a heart that is both grieving and trusting God, I am humbly raising funds to lay my beloved father, Marquise Dunn, to rest.
After a long and courageous battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, my father gained his heavenly wings. He fought with strength, dignity, and faith until the very end. While we find comfort in God’s promise that “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord,” the emptiness that his passing has left in our hearts is indescribable. Losing him has shaken our family deeply.
We truly believed that there is an existing life insurance policy and it would help ease this burden and allow us to focus solely on grieving and honoring his life. However, due to unexpected complications, those funds are not currently not available to us. In this already painful season, we are now faced with the full weight of funeral and burial expenses.
My father was more than a father — he was a source of strength, wisdom, love, and protection. He was cherished by his family and respected by many. He deserves a homegoing service that reflects the beautiful life he lived and the impact he made on those around him.
Today, we are leaning on our faith and the kindness of others. We are asking, from the depths of our hearts, for any support you can give to help us honor him with dignity. No amount is too small — every prayer, every share, and every donation truly makes a difference.
