We are the family of Marquis Timms. His life was tragically lost due to a hit and run in South Los Angeles on January 29, 2025. Barely receiving the devastating news of Marquis’s passing almost 3 weeks later on February 16, 2025, we are now preparing for a celebration of a young Black king whose life ended way too soon and had a bright future ahead of him. He was so full of joy and loved everyone he was around.

We want to give Marquis the dignified and heartfelt send-off he deserves, but unfortunately, the financial burden of funeral expenses is overwhelming for our family during this already challenging time. We are kindly reaching out to our community, friends, and family for support in honoring Marquis’s memory.
