Help Marlowe Walk Without Pain

Hi, my name is Angelique, and I’m asking for help to change my sweet girl’s life.

Marlowe is my almost 3-year-old Alaskan Malamute—my fluffy shadow, my gentle giant, and my heart dog. She’s the kind of dog who leans into you for comfort, follows me from room to room, and greets me like I’m her whole world. But right now, her world is filled with pain.

She was diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia, meaning both of her hips are failing her. She struggles just to stand up, bunny-hops when she tries to run, and stiffens up after even the smallest bit of exercise. She still tries to play, still looks at me with hopeful eyes, but I can see it—it hurts. It’s not fair. She’s still just a baby.

The only way to give Marlowe the pain-free life she deserves is through a total hip replacement. We’re starting with her worst hip first, but the cost is overwhelming—$7,250 for this first surgery alone.

I work in veterinary medicine, and I’ve dedicated my life to helping animals. But now, I need help for my own. Marlowe deserves a chance to run without pain, to stretch without struggle, to just be a dog.
