Cancer took a lot from us, but it didn’t take hope. My husband’s surgery for esophageal cancer was successful, but the journey is far from over. After surgery, he now faces a long road of treatment and recovery. Right now, he can’t eat and relies on a feeding tube as he works toward the goal of eating on his own again. Every day brings new challenges for our family, from managing his care to facing the uncertainty of what comes next. Despite everything, he remains a great father, a hard worker, and my best friend—always understanding and supportive, even in the hardest moments.
