Marlon Vallot and I have been close friends since childhood, and I’ve always admired his strength and dedication as a single father. On Christmas Eve, while working as a LYFT driver to support his family, Marlon was hit by another driver and suffered a serious back injury. The accident has left him unable to work, and as someone who has spent most of his life as a 1099 worker, he doesn’t have access to the benefits or coverage that many of us take for granted.
Marlon’s days are now filled with doctor visits, physical therapy, and the constant worry of how he’ll provide for his child while he recovers. The medical bills are piling up, and the cost of therapy and daily expenses is overwhelming. Despite these challenges, Marlon remains hopeful and determined to get back on his feet for his family.
I’m reaching out to our community for help. Your support will go directly toward Marlon’s medical care, therapy, and essential living expenses during this difficult time. Any contribution, big or small, will make a real difference in helping Marlon heal and provide for his child. Thank you for considering a donation and for showing Marlon that he’s not alone in this journey.
