This past month has brought both joy and heartbreak for Marley and Leigh. On September 15th, they welcomed their beautiful baby boy, Strider, through an emergency C-section. What should have been a time of healing and celebration quickly became overwhelming, as Marley faced serious C-section complications and spent 10 days in the hospital. Leigh has had to take extra time off work to care for both Marley and their newborn during this challenging recovery.

Now, on top of adjusting to new parenthood, the family is facing another devastating challenge—on Monday, they must say goodbye to their beloved dog and best friend, Bam Bam. Coping with this heartbreaking loss while navigating postpartum recovery has been incredibly difficult, and it means they will need additional time off to heal and grieve together as a family.
