Standing With an 11-Year-Old Girl in the Fight of Her Life
Less than two weeks ago, Marley, a bright, funny, athletic, brave 11-year-old girl, was living a completely normal life — going to school and navigating through her first year of junior high, laughing with friends, going to basketball practice, planning her next adventure. Today, her world looks completely different.
Her family received the heartbreaking news that she has osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer. The diagnosis came suddenly, and everything that followed happened even faster. Within days, she was admitted to the hospital, beginning intense chemotherapy with barely enough time to catch her breath.
There is no guidebook for moments like this. One morning you wake up with a healthy child, and by evening you’re being told to pack bags, leave home, and prepare for months of treatment far from everything familiar. Her parents are doing everything humanly possible to stay strong, but the truth is: they’re terrified. Anyone would be.
Life Has Been Put on Hold — Because Healing Comes First
Marley's parents, Kristina and Coby, have had to step away from work, relocate temporarily for treatment, and prepare for major surgery followed by more chemotherapy. They are juggling appointments, sleepless nights, travel, lodging, medical decisions, and the emotional weight no parent should ever have to carry.
Through it all, Marley is meeting each day with a kind of courage no child should ever need — but somehow, she has it. She smiles when she can, holds her parents’ hands when she can’t, and fights through every difficult moment with a strength that humbles everyone around her.
Marley's family is facing an overwhelming financial reality on top of an already devastating emotional one.
Your support will help cover:
* Time away from work
* Travel and temporary housing during long treatment stays
* Medical expenses and medications not fully covered
* Meals, parking, and everyday costs that never pause — even when life does
Most importantly, your help gives this family one priceless thing: the ability to focus on their daughter, not bills.
If you’re able to donate, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
If you can share this fundraiser, that helps more than you know.
If all you can offer is a kind word, a prayer, or a moment of hope — that means everything too.
Thank you for showing up for this family during the scariest chapter of their lives. Your kindness brings light into their darkest days, and it gives this little girl something she needs just as much as medicine: hope.
