Marlene, my friend and electrologist, experienced a life-changing injury on Tuesday. She suffered a severe head injury that resulted in the loss of part of her skin, requiring an emergency room visit and hospitalization until Wednesday. The physical and emotional toll of such an injury is immense, but Marlene’s resilience is truly inspiring. Despite her pain and the uncertainty ahead, she returned to work at the electrolysis center on Friday, determined to continue supporting herself and her clients.
