I have been living with fibromyalgia since 2013, and I have not been able to work full-time since then. Over the years, I’ve taken three work leave of absences and have struggled with debt as a result. In 2024, I reached the maximum time allowed under my long-term disability insurance and had to rely on credit cards for about 6 months. In May 2025, I was able to return to work and managed to cover my basic needs, but each month since then has become more difficult as the pain, fatigue, and other symptoms of fibromyalgia have worsened. In the last 6 months, I have been able to work less than once a week. If I don't get better, I will be able to go on leave in June. After June, I will apply for short-term disability, which, if approved, will allow me to cover half of my expenses. Four months later, I’ll be eligible for long-term insurance again, which will allow me to pay my expenses and repay those who have helped me on this site. I have also taken as much as I could from my 401 (k), and I don't have much left.

The funds I raise here will go directly toward my basic needs: mortgage, car payment, car and health insurance, medication, groceries, phone, and utilities. Your support will help me keep a roof over my head and provide some relief from the anxiety and depression that come with this situation.
