Dear Family and Friends,
My name is Janette, and I am Jalene's Best Friend. I have known Jalene and her family for more than 17 years, and we all have grown to become one big family. I have always believed in the power of love, support, and connection. These values are especially important to me now as I stand by my beloved Auntie Leticia Queniahan (mostly known as Marlene), during her courageous battle against metastatic breast cancer. In this challenging time, I am standing beside Jalene and her family to help support Auntie. Whether it’s accompanying her to doctor appointments, helping with daily tasks, or simply providing emotional support, I am committed to being there for them every step of the way.
I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share the story of my beloved Auntie. She is a vibrant and loving person. She has always been a source of strength and joy in our lives. Unfortunately, her journey took a drastic turn when she was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer that has metastasized, spreading to other parts of her body.
Auntie is a remarkable woman whose selflessness and compassion have touched the lives of everyone around her. A devoted Grandmother, Mother, sister, daughter, coworker, friend, she has spent her life putting others before herself, always eager to lend a helping hand or provide support to those in need. Her warmth and kindness are truly infectious, making her a beloved figure in our family and community.
Auntie has an incredible ability to drop everything she’s doing to be there for others. Whether it’s comforting a friend during a tough time, organizing an event, making delicious cakes, or simply listening to someone’s troubles, she is always ready to put her own needs aside to help those she cares about. This dedication to others is a testament to her character and her deep-rooted belief in the importance of community and family. Her self-sacrificial nature has created a ripple effect, inspiring those around her to be more compassionate and supportive.
Now, as she faces her own battle with metastatic breast cancer, Auntie continues to show incredible strength and resilience. Even in her time of need, she remains concerned about others, often asking how her loved ones are doing and offering words of encouragement. It is this indomitable spirit that drives us to rally around her, to show her the same love and support she has given so freely throughout her life. As we come together to support her in this challenging journey, we aim to reflect the values she has instilled in us all—showing up for one another, lifting each other up, and demonstrating the true meaning of family and friendship. She deserves all the love and care she has so generously given to others, and we are committed to ensuring she feels that love now more than ever.
Despite the challenges she faces, Auntie remains resilient and determined. Her plan of care requires palliative radiation, which will take a toll on her physically and emotionally. The financial burden of medical expenses, coupled with her inability to work during this critical time, has created an overwhelming strain on her and her family.
We are launching this Go Fund Me to help alleviate some of that burden and provide Auntie with the support she needs. Your generous donations will go towards her medical bills, treatment costs, and everyday expenses, allowing her to focus on what truly matters—her health and recovery.
Auntie has always been there for us, offering her love, kindness, and support in our times of need. Now, it's our turn to rally around her and show her that she is not alone in this fight. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference and brings us one step closer to easing her burden.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your support. Please share this gofundme with your networks, and let’s come together to help Auntie in her fight against cancer. Together, we can make a difference.
With love and gratitude,
Jalene Harding and Family
Janette Ramiro Tole
