We truly appreciate you taking the time to read our story. Our daughter, Marleen Nolasco, was in a tragic ATV accident on July 3rd, 2023, while on a camping trip. That night, we received a call to let us know our oldest daughter was hurt and she was being transported to the hospital, which was 5 hours from our home. She was airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. She had suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. Marleen is a devoted Christian, dedicated to her family above all, and loved her job. She was a lab scientist at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO.
Marleen has not been home since her accident, she is at Craig Rehabilitation Hospital in Denver, CO. She has not regained full consciousness or cognitive response. She is waiting for a second cranioplasty surgery. Once recovered, she will be able to go home. Once home, she will need adaptive medical equipment to assist with mobility and cognitive deficits that will not be covered by her medical insurance. Additionally, her parents' home will require modifications to accommodate her care needs.
The future remains uncertain regarding the additional medical equipment and care Marleen may require. Her recovery journey is ongoing. We ask for your continued prayers, help, and generous donations. Thank you and God bless you, The Nolasco Family
Gracias por sus donaciones y oraciones se les agradece de Corazón.
