Hi! I'm a family friend of Marla's and I'm setting up this fundraiser on her behalf, after much reluctance on her part. 2020 and 2021 have been very hard years for her family, far beyond the very overwhelming challenges associated with the pandemic.

Both of Marla's wonderful daughters have had unexpected and significant medical issues emerge this year. These medical issues are ongoing and will continue to require a lot of time and attention. Because Marla is self-employed, she has no paid time off or FMLA. She is a single parent and is struggling with the weight of trying to work full-time, care for her clients, and care for her children through multiple hospitalizations.

Marla never hesitates to help when her community needs her and, right now, she needs us. If you are able to help out financially, in any way, I know it would bring her great relief and comfort.
