Hello, my name is Marcia Watt and I am Markus Watt’s younger sister. I am creating this GoFundMe for my brother Markus, who was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin lymphoma cancer.

Markus is such a genuine and kind person and is loved by everyone he meets. To know him is to love him. He has the biggest heart, loves his family deeply, and would do anything for the people he loves, especially his three sisters. He is 23 years old, recently graduated from college, and works for the City of Rock Hill. He also has a beautiful passion for music and loves playing guitar.

Our family was devastated when we received this diagnosis. As a young man just beginning his career and adult life, this was something none of us ever imagined. Still, we know Markus is a fighter, and we remain hopeful as he begins this battle.

Since his diagnosis, Markus has had many doctor appointments, bi-weekly chemotherapy infusions and injections, routine scans including PET scans, and several surgeries. As he continues treatment, the medical expenses have quickly added up.

We are creating this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden from chemotherapy treatments, surgeries, scans, medications, travel to appointments, and other unexpected expenses related to his care so Markus can focus on healing and recovery.
