Mark Flagg is our youngest brother—Juanita Flagg’s baby boy—he's the uncle, cousin, son, friend, and brother that every family is blessed to have. Mark is the kind of person who always puts others first. As a self-employed business owner, he’s poured his heart and savings into running his beloved Fried Fish Shack, in the neighborhood he loves. Over the years, Mark has become a pillar of support for so many, always ready to lend a hand or offer a kind word to anyone in need.
There was never a day that went by that Mark didn’t give to those who had nothing, even when he hadn’t made a dollar himself. At the end of each day, he would share any and all leftovers from The Fried Fish Shack with the community, making sure no one went without. His generosity has touched countless lives, and he’s always put the needs of others before his own.
Recently, Mark lost the job that kept The Fried Fish Shack going. Despite his dedication and hard work, his house is now in need of major repairs, and he’s facing the added burden of back taxes. Just as he was trying to keep everything afloat, Mark received a cancer diagnosis. This news has been overwhelming for our family, and it’s made it even harder for him to keep up with mounting expenses.
We are reaching out to our community for help. The funds raised will go directly toward Mark’s medical bills, back taxes on his home, and essential repairs so he can focus on his health and recovery. Mark has always taken care of everyone else—now, he needs our help more than ever.
