Hi all, I hesitate to do this, I know there is judgement with asking for support, but we all struggle sometimes. I am reaching out for support as I recover from another health challenge. I was hospitalized for four days after struggling to eat without getting sick, and I’ve since learned I have a motility issue that’s affecting my ability to use the bathroom and causing other complications. With my disability, these things happen. I am hesitant to ask for help again, but I’m scared. I’m starting a new medication that will hopefully help, but I need time to rest and heal.

As someone who works for myself, I don’t have vacation time or paid leave to fall back on. The sudden hospital stay and ongoing recovery mean I’m unable to work right now, and the bills are adding up. I’m asking for help to cover my rent, bills, and daily expenses so I can focus on getting better without the added stress of financial worries.
