My name is Joanie Bennett. My 11 year old son, Mark, was injured on Friday, July 17, 2026, when he accidentally collided with a car while riding his bike. He has a femoral shaft fracture on his upper right leg, which is requiring surgery. He does have insurance, but it won’t cover it all. My family and I are already in a tight spot due to missing work and traveling to be with him. He is also probably going to need physical therapy as well and costs are only going to go up from there. We trying to cover basic expenses along with supporting him during this time, but it getting very tight. I really don’t know what else to do or say, but thank you in advance.
