Our family is asking for help for my brother, Mark who is facing a dangerous and urgent medical situation. Mark has been diagnosed with a blocked artery in his neck (carotid artery disease). This happens when plaque builds up and narrows the artery, restricting blood flow to the brain and greatly increases the risk of a major stroke.

Unfortunately, Mark does not have health insurance, which has made an already frightening situation even more overwhelming. He urgently needs this operation to address the blockage and prevent potentially life-threatening complications. The cost of the travel expenses to the US, the surgery, hospital care and recovery is far more than he can manage on his own.

Mark is a kind hardworking, caring person who would give the shirt off his back to help others. Now he needs support. Every donation - no matter the amount big or small will go directly towards covering Mark's travel, medical expenses and easing the financial burden so he can focus on healing
