My name is Tricia and my husband is Mark. We have been married 25 years. Together, we have been through a lot in the past 25 years with the loss of our own loved ones and unexpected moves due to natural disasters.
While I have been recovering from shoulder surgery in June of this year, Mark found out he has stage 3 throat cancer. He only has Medicare insurance. He unfortunately does not qualify for secondary insurance. He also has no prescription coverage. All his meds have been out of pocket for us. His treatments and cancer prescriptions are financially taking a toll on me.
I am one that doesn't ask for help or handouts.
Many also may know that he has been paralyzed from the waist down since 2022 due to an accident during surgery. Our living room has turned into a hospital room. I have been his caregiver 24 hours, 365 days since we can't afford extra medical services to help.
Between medical bills and treatments and me being on medical leave with my shoulder, I have yet to return to work full time. We are running low on money to cover costs of bills now and for what's to come in the future.
Not asking for a lot but are hoping for whatever we can get to help us get back on our feet and attempt to get ahead of the rest. Thank you for taking the time to read our message and for considering to be a donor.
