On behalf of the Scattolini family, we are raising money for Mark and Donna Scattolini, and their two young daughters Olivia and Avery. Mark has been battling brain cancer for the past few years, with incredible strength. Over the past few months Mark went through 4 cycles of a clinical trial which we hoped would help but they recently determined he no longer qualifies for the clinical trial because the April MRI showed more growth. This led to quickly pursing emergency surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible on May 14. While they were able to remove some of the tumor, they weren’t able to get it all and are now pursing proton therapy at Penn. Unfortunately they just found out that insurance denied the proton radiation. We all know Markie is a fighter, he has now managed three extremely complicated brain surgeries, chemo, radiation and clinical trials and we are hoping this proton therapy can help end this once and for all. Please help us raise money so they can move forward with the proton therapy for Mark, an incredible, dad, husband, brother, son, and friend.
