Mark is a loving husband to Cathy, an amazing father to his daughter, Mckenna, son, Dylan, and fur baby, Holly.
In March 2023, while taking care of his wife, Cathy, who was battling colorectal cancer (now cancer-free), Mark found out he had liver cancer. Mark's cancer has quickly progressed to the advanced stage of liver cancer.
Mark has already undergone treatments to relieve tumors using radiation in December 2024. However, the tumors have since multiplied. He was taken off the transplant list because his AFP marker rose above the acceptable level. Then they treated him with immunotherapy between April and July 2024; he received 3 treatments. Then they tried Lenvima, a targeted medication. This went on for 3 and a half weeks. Numerous scans and tests have also been done, and the medical bills are piling up quickly as the fight for his life continues. He has traveled all the way from his home in Arkansas to go to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.
As Mark continues his fight with cancer at Mayo and his family continues to search for medical help, we are asking for help to alleviate some of the financial burden on the family at this time.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in making sure Mark gets the care he needs and that his family can remain by his side without any added stress. These donations will go towards medical expenses, as well as any additional support his family may need.
We are beyond grateful for all of the prayers, generosity, and community that have been a stronghold to us through this entire process.
Thank you from the Hardie family.
