In December of 2024, my dad Mark was diagnosed with heart failure. Many surgeries, and lengthy hospital stays later, he unfortunately lost this battle surrounded by his family. While he was a hard worker all his life, and provided for his family in any way he could, because his illness was so sudden, we were all unprepared for the cost associated with the end of his life.
