Support Mark's Essential Home Care for ALS
Donation protected
Let me introduce you to my husband, of 45 years, Mark. A man who loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, bike riding and his biggest live of all - photography. He was diagnosed with ALS 2 years ago and is now in a wheelchair full time. He can no longer hold his beloved camers or sit at his computer and upload, log or edit his photos. He has been needing more in-depth care which I am finding more difficult to do. He is needing a qualified nurse or nursing aide for several hours a day/evening. Our retirement savings have gone to other major medical equipment/necessities and we find ourselves reaching out for help to keep him at home rather than a nursing facility. Specialists say the best place for ALS patients is in the comfort of their own home. A full-time nurse/aide is rather expensive but in order to give Mark the best possible care at home we are asking for help. Any little bit can help. We also ask that you pass on and share this info with others even on social media. We appreciate your help and thank you all in advance.
