Support Mark's Desire to Remain in His Family Home

Story: Shockingly, 59% of all Americans are only one paycheck away from eviction or foreclosure. Please help me help my dear friend, Mark Cerce of Florida, from becoming a statistic.

Mark is a hardworking, honest, loving man, who, through a series of tragic events, is unable to pay the accumulating arrears on his mortgage due to the financial burden placed upon him after the illness and sudden passing of his beloved mother, with whom he resided in their modest 2-bedroom home for the past 25 years,

He has appealed to his remaining family members and personal friends, who, though sympathetic, are unable to help because of their own financial constraints.

He has negotiated in good faith with his lender, but to little avail. He has reached out to all the appropriate governmental agencies and charitable organizations, only to be told he does not qualify for aid under their guidelines. He has reached the point of not knowing where else to turn,

It's very difficult to stand by and watch a good friend, a man so compassionate that he would deny himself necessities to provide needed veterinary care for his pet, while forgoing medical care for himself, a man who has always been a responsible, productive, giving member of society, fall victim to a set of circumstances he cannot control.
