Support Mark's Battle Against Colon Cancer

My name is Mark. This year, 2024, I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. On May 31st, I was taken to the Emergency room at Loma Linda Hospital by my wife with severe abdominal pain. the MRI and CT scans revealed that I had a bowel blockage. I was admitted to the hospital and was immediately scheduled for surgery. After a 6 and a half hour surgery, 6 inches of my Sigmoid Colon were removed, leaving me with a colostomy bag. Tests came back confirming the stage 3 colon cancer.

Before all this, I was an active guy who loved to hike and explore with my wife and two yellow lab dogs. I enjoy playing guitar and writing music. I am a skilled finish carpenter who takes pride in my work. I am the bread winner of my household. My wife does what she can as a disabled person herself, only able to work part-time.

I am in need of financial assistance with my medical bills that have accumulated from the ER visits, test costs, Doctor charges, and now my chemotherapy treatment costs. These treatments are set to continue for another 6 months. Known as a "Round" of chemo. As I continue, I see the bills and charges stacking up. I do worry about how my wife and I are going to take care of these bills.

But I've always been optimistic and look forward to every new day.

I love life and this chance we have been given, all the experiences, places and people. My wife my love the world we created for ourselves. I appreciate your help and support in any way.
