Back pain is no joke! I injured my back on the job 5 years and was forced to retire 3 years later at 58 years old. Now, I'm on disability and my income is fixed. This has been a huge adjustment, both physically and financially, and it's been tough to keep up with the unexpected costs that come with my situation.

Now, I'm facing back surgery to fuse L3-L5 and reduce stenosis because of terrible nerve pain. I have degenerative Disks, Herniated Disk, and plenty of Bone Spurs. A long and careful recovery is ahead. While I'm grateful for the care I'll receive, I have significant out-of-pocket and deductible expenses that I simply can't cover on my own. My disability income is limited, and like many seniors these days, these extra medical costs are overwhelming.

I wish I had the ability to raise this money by working, but I've been classified as disabled with limited mobility and can't sit for long.
