I am reaching out to our community, friends, and family with heavy hearts to ask for support for my 17 year old cousin, Markell, and mother, Kim.

Markell's life changed dramatically on December 30th with a severe seizure, quickly leading to the discovery of a brain mass. Since then, his condition has worsened rapidly: he is being kept alive by machines, is in kidney failure (requiring dialysis), and is now in critical need for a Liver transplant to the point he was moved to the top of the transplant list in America.

Today, January 2nd, 2026, Markell was transferred to Georgetown University Hospital in DC to receive the highly specialized and intensive care he desperately needs.

Kim's Urgent Financial Need:

Markell's mother, Kim, is traveling with Markell to DC and will need to remain with him throughout this critical, uncertain journey.

Unfortunately, Kim does not have short-term disability insurance. This means that while she is focusing entirely on her son's fight for life, she has no income to cover her regular monthly bills, living expenses, or the mounting costs associated with this medical crisis.

We must remove the financial burden so Kim can focus entirely on Markell's survival. Your donation will directly ensure Kim can stay with her critically ill son without losing everything back home.
