Hello, my name is Shellie Vincent. On 01/02/26 around 5:30 pm, my stepdad Mark Willson, who works at Mad Man's Hobby in Lehi, Utah, owned by Teresa Mott, was involved in a terrible incident. While at work Friday night, a couple parked in front of the store and came inside. The male was purchasing an item while the female held the door open. Soon after, the male grabbed a high-dollar item and ran out. My dad went to tell them to come back in or give him the item. As he walked around the back of the truck, he saw reverse lights and grabbed the tailgate of the truck, hopping up on the bumper so he wouldn't be smashed between the truck and another vehicle. These two then took off down the road with him hanging on the tailgate. The two then fled the scene, running him over as he was wrapped around the wheel in the process. They did not stop; they did not come back; they left him lying in the road, broken and bleeding. He has multiple broken bones, including both femur bones, several in his leg, arm, and face. He is looking at multiple surgeries, procedures, and months and months of healing. He was the main provider of our household and will not be able to work for months, possibly years, down the road. I started this GoFundMe to help with his future and ongoing medical expenses as well as to help keep him and my family taken care of.
