It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Mark Sannino, on Sunday, July 27, 2025. Mark, also known as “Spanky” or “Uncle Mark” was a fun, loving, kind, and vibrant person. You could always count on Mark for a big smile and a well-timed joke — he brought laughter wherever he went. Mark was a well known member of the Greenwood Lake community. He was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend — especially to his nephews, who he loved and cared for as if they were his own children. He played a central role in raising them, guiding them through life with love, patience, and unwavering support. To them, he wasn't just an uncle - he was a father figure, and his loss is truly devastating to them all.

We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses, and to support the family during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated and will go directly toward honoring Mark’s memory.

Mark is survived by his brother, Dave and his two nephews, Frankie and Michael.
