Support Mark Lown's Cancer Treatment

Hello everyone, my name is Jessica Arvallo, and I am creating a GoFundMe for my amazing father, Mark Lown. In June we found out that my dad has prostate cancer and will need treatment to have the tumors removed. After numerous testing, scans and doctors’ appointments, my dad and his doctors decided that the best treatment for him is going to be a procedure called Tulsa Pro. This procedure is minimally invasive with no cutting or bleeding and uses a directional ultrasound to destroy the cancerous prostate tissue. It is a same day outpatient procedure, has a quick recovery time and low complications. He will be receiving this treatment on Saturday December 21st 2024, but unfortunately, insurance does not cover it. My dad is consistently flying out of town for work and working long hours, so being able to bounce back after this procedure and get his strength back quickly will be imperative. My parents have overcome so many struggles throughout their life and I am hoping that our friends, family and community can come together and help my parents take off some of the financial burden that they are presented with. If you know my dad, you know he is the most hardworking person there is, and he is also the only source of income for my parents. He is the most selfless person there is and always thinks of others before himself. My whole life he has provided for his family and is always taking care of everyone around. We are beyond grateful for any donations that we receive, and all donations raised will go straight towards my dad’s medical bills.
