Support for Mark and Linda Gruttadauria During Their Health Crisis

If you know Mark and Linda Gruttadauria, you know they are full of faith, joy, and love for others. They’ve poured so much into the lives of their family, friends, and community. Now, they’re walking through an incredibly challenging season—and we have an opportunity to walk with them.

In 2024, Linda was diagnosed with Leukemic Mantle Cell Lymphoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Despite undergoing multiple rounds of chemotherapy, the cancer remained resistant. In March 2025, she was admitted for CAR T-cell therapy, a cutting-edge and intense treatment where her own immune cells were re-engineered to attack the cancer.

The process was grueling—marked by severe side effects including seizures, high fevers, memory loss, and breathing difficulties that landed her in the ICU, intubated and fighting for her life. Doctors said she nearly died. But thanks to God’s grace and the prayers of many, Linda pulled through.

And then—a miracle: her recent bone marrow biopsy shows she is in remission!

But the journey is far from over. Linda now has to live in isolation, with a restricted diet and severely compromised immune system, likely through the summer. Her body needs time to rebuild.

While Linda was hospitalized for a month, Mark was suddenly admitted twice himself—first for 5 days, then again for 8. What began with kidney stones and infections led to a far more serious discovery: a mass inside his right kidney, suspected to be cancer. Surgery to remove the kidney is expected. He is now undergoing testing and biopsies.

They are both exhausted, physically and emotionally. Yet through it all, they remain anchored in their faith and continue to trust that God is not done with their story.
