Hello everyone, I am reaching out on behalf of my uncle, Mark Flores, who was brutally beaten by a security guard for no reason last night, leaving him with a head injury that required medical attention. My uncle never fought back; that’s just the kind of person he is—gentle, non-violent, and always trying to do the right thing.

This happened on Friday night around midnight at a downtown San Jose bar, “The Loft.” He is currently recovering, but thankfully he’s stable. We are beyond grateful he’s alive, but he now faces medical bills and a long road to healing both physically and emotionally as a single father of two. Any support, whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply keeping him in your thoughts and prayers, means the world to our family right now. My uncle Mark is someone who always shows up for others without hesitation, and we want to do the same for him.
